Len de Vries

Len de Vries joined Stenning & Associates as a Senior Paralegal in October 2008.

Len obtained three Law degrees from the University of Pretoria in South Africa, namely Bachelor of Arts (BA Law), Bachelor of Law (LLB) and Master of Law (LLM). His Master’s degree dissertation entitled “The Ethics in Genetics – The Legitimacy and Application of Stem Cell Research” was a first for the South African legal sector and he was actively involved in the regulatory processes pertaining to the fields of genetics and the law. During the course of his studies Len also completed the 6 month Law School course presented by the University of Pretoria.

Len worked as an academic associate for the University of Pretoria, during which time he was also an external examiner for the University of South Africa.

Len practised as a candidate attorney in Johannesburg, South Africa, whereafter he practised with VDT Attorneys in Pretoria. From January 2007 to September 2008 he practised as a Conveyancer in the firm’s Correspondent Conveyancing Department, where he obtained extensive experience through daily interaction with fellow attorneys throughout South Africa as well as the Deeds Registries Office.

Len was admitted as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa in September 2006, as a Conveyancer in December 2006 and as a Notary in August 2008.
